bringing home baby...caydon's first week home.

first i like to thank everyone for their congratulations, gifts and visits!! and for those who havent visited we're waiting!!! :) so he's almost 2 weeks old and things have been amazing!! he's a very good sleeper, and eater!! he's growing like a weed! it's amazing the difference in developement that i notice between him and sebastian. caydon had 33 more days inside me than sebastian did (according to due dates) and there really is a difference. caydon seems to be much more alert and growing much quicker. and he just seems...older. he fit into preemie clothes for about 5 days and has grown out of them. and is quickly fitting snugly into newborn clothes. sebastian has done pretty well adjusting to his new brother. he's gentle and kind 98% of the time. mostly he's just been testing his limits a little more...but that's also age appropriate. he'll be 2 on christmas. yup, i have my holiday babies...all three of them, sebastian-christmas, caydon-thanksgiving, and christopher-thanksgiving. yah, we're cool like that.

christopher has been amazing...basically the best dad and husband anyone could ask for. i have been healing quite nicely...infact i go back to work tomorrow. i took exactly 2 weeks off...but only 11 days since i actually gave birth. i still can't believe i did that...which by the way the blog i wrote does no justice to the actual expereince...and there's a lot i left out b/c...well it was a little too graphic to share...however, absolutely feel free to ask me any questions if you were wondering about natural child birth. i totally don't mind sharing it. i just know some people don't want to hear it, lol. so all in all we're adjusting very smoothly into our family of now 4. here are some pictures from caydons first week (and then some) enjoy (we are) :)
