what????!!! half way to a year??!!!

yup it's true, caydon is 6 months old today!! and a big day it was!!! we started off with a trip to the park. it was mommy play group day with some of the mommies from my ward. caydon had his first ride on a swing! it was so funny b/c when he was leaning back, everytime the swing came fowards, towards me he would shake his fists, and look terrified. but then when it would go back he would be fine and smile. ha ha. so then i just put him forward, and he was fine both ways. here's some pics to explain what i mean:

after the park we went to the grocery store and then we went to get caydon his first ice cream cone. a tradition my mother in law started with her kids...or at least tessa. and we like it, so we followed. here are some pics.

then when we got home i got ready to go take my asvab...which i did not take. b/c i was not dressed "appropriately" i was wearing slippers (flip flops, not house slippers) and apparantley that's not allowed, so i'll be trying again to take this stupid test next wednesday...for the 3rd time.

so last today we were supposed to have a meetng with one of the members of our church to plan out my baptism and i made the apointment last week and completely forgot, and so we also had to reschedule that. i feel so bad for that, i almost cried. i know pathetic!
