We are Texans.

so we made the drive...the long drive, from sheppard to littleton...then to Lackland. and inbtween that we cleaned and cleaned and cleaned....and watched the payed for by the government movers pack our whole lives into boxes.....awesome. I finaly get to be with my family. there isn't any phrase i could be more excited to say. well there's a lot going on still and i'm still very busy...but it's definitely better here. like for instanse, at sheppard, in phase one of tech school, if we were "done" for the day, or seomthing was goign on to where the teachers had to be else where they werent teaching us...we sat in the classroom, for hours, soemtimes the entire day on "mandatory study" and if we laughed or were too loud, we would get yelled at. Here, at phase 2 at good ol lackland, if we're done for the day, we're done...and not like at sheppard where if we did by chance get out of school early we had to come back to the dorm, stay in uniform and sit in our rooms with the doors open...nope, here at lackland when we're done, we're done. like today, for example, we got off at 11...so me and my classmates left. went to the bx and then i went home. went shoping with the fam, and still had the whole rest of the day to enjoy. I sord of love it. :) so while it's still busy, i definietly hav more time. and i'm happier now bc my family is here. :)

so i love my job here! in phase one it was all book work, blah! but here we are in the lab, actually working with patients, and actually doing out job. we still have block tests, unfortunately, but it's still much better! we're in pulmonary now, and then in two weeks we go to cardiology, then two months after that we go to respiratory therapy. and we're there for 4 months....all together, 8 months. if you didn't know, my entire class is here with me, usually classes get split up and go to different bases for phase two, but bc there was only 7 of us, we all stayed together...there are some positives to this, and some negatives to this...they know what i mean. and the friends you make at work in the air force and a little different then the friends you make at a regular job.

my whole life style is different. PERCEPTION IS EVERYTHING!!!! if someone thinks you're doing something....then you are. if rumors get to the right people...whether they're rumors or not...you'll get in trouble for them, b/c we're taught from the begining that perception is everything, so it's your fault for putting yourself in the situation for rumors to be spread. The air force is whole different way of living, thinking, and being. 95% of it i really love...and the other 5% i've learned to love b/c if i don't, the air force will find out and they'll make me love it, or i'll get kicked out. waht i'm trying to say is, i love my job, and i love the air force....just sometmes it's hard....but worth it. i'll put pictures up today. :) and hopefully try to post more. (just remember, i'm not a stay at home mom any more, lol)

Hey You! I am so happy you are on to phase two! I remember when I was in phase two it was a dream come true after all the phase one junk. Plus, being back with your family has got to be the best. I can't wait to hear what else you are up to!
